2012 Laser Nationals Results

The VLA members who attended the recent Australian Championships at RQYS in Queensland all did very well and we have a bright future if the results of the Laser 4.7's and Radials are indications of the future. Victorian results excluding internationals are as follows:

Australian Youth Championships

The Australian Youth Championships have just been completed and the again the VLA proved their skill and stamina as this regatta followed the nationals. Congratulations to our flying Laser 4.7 sailors Jack Felsenthal and Anna Philip who are on fire at present.

Yachting Victoria Youth News

 The Yachting Victoria Development Squad (YVDS) is step 7 in the Yachting Victoria pathway and is the next step for those aiming at selection to the VIS – step 8.

Remember the combined Victorian Masters and Youth Championships are on Feb 4th and 5th at Port Melbourne Yacht Club (not Mt Martha this year). NOR and details will be releases soon.

VLA State Championships

The VLA Victorian Championships are the premier event on the packed VLA calendar this year. This year they are being sailed at Somers YC on Westernport Bay on Feb 18th/19th. NOR and details to be annpunced shortly. Plenty of prizes on offer and promises to be a fabulous event.
